Big Time Rush Big Time Rush, an American pop-punk band was founded in the year 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow along with Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They signed their first contract to Nick Records in 2009 before changing to Columbia Records. The group was a part of the Nickelodeon television show of the same name, Big Time Rush. The show aired from the beginning of November 28, 2009 through July 25, 2013. The premiere episode featured the group's first promo single, "Big Time Rush". The band has released three albums, including BTR in 2010, Elevate in 2011 and 24/Seven in 2013. In 2014, the band went on an indefinite hiatus that lasted up to 2021.
